TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.
